Two Year Ministerial Program Completion Requirements First Year Training Classwork     (Class attendance or make-up via cassettes) Monthly reading assignments and written work Participation in ongoing study groups Participation in email group sharing Field visits to services or ceremonies of various faiths Participation in Buddy and Mentor Programs Volunteer service in the community Participation in Interfaith Temple Final Year End Paper Intensive Residential Retreat Final oral examination/dialogue Upon successful completion of the first year, students are recognized in a ceremony of spiritual initiation into the Interfaith ministry. (Full ordination as an Interfaith Minister is not granted until completion of the Second Year Training.) Second Year Training Classwork     (Class attendance via audio tapes/CDs) Monthly reading assignments and written work Participation in ongoing study groups Participation in email group sharing In-class practica     (required of attending students only) Plan and conduct     monthly Interfaith Temple worship services     as part of monthly classes     (required of attending students only) Plan and conduct     monthly Interfaith Temple worship services     open to the public     (required of attending students only) Attend monthly Interfaith Temple dialogues     (required of attending students only) Participate in Buddy and Mentor programs Completion of Individual Minister's Service Manual     (year-end project) Intensive Retreat Final oral examination     by the Seminary's Board of Accreditation Upon successful completion of the second year, including fulfillment of the student's tuition obligation, students are graduated from the Seminary and are ordained as Interfaith Ministers. They are then eligible to become legally registered as clergy.
