One Year Survey Of World Religions
Program Overview
Our one-year Survey of World Religions program parallels the first year of our two-year Ministerial Program, but is intended for those who are interested in learning more about World Religions, without pursuing ordination as an Interfaith Minister.
We will study 14 major religions over 3 full weekends and 3 additional Saturdays from September to March. (Orientation will be in September.) This is a one semester course.
Students who live outside the greater New York area may participate in this program as corresponding students. Correspondence study is integrated with our 'in-attendance' training program, with tapes of the lectures and homework assignments sent through the mail each month.
This program provides a foundation in the Interfaith perspective, with a primary focus on comparative religion. The student studies all the world’s religions, from the Earth-based, to the Eastern, to the Abrahamic, to New Thought.
